Here's an epiphany: Iran will have no oil for export by 2014. How is this possible in a country with the world's third largest petroleum reserves?

It's a fascinating read on how the Iranian leadership's ideological policy fixations are ruining that country's economy. Combine this with an increasingly young and increasingly restive populaton and we could see the Mullah's ability to agitate the region severly hamstrung without the U.S. getting the least bit involved:

Hmmmm, is this guy really going to stick with this or will he change as most. I really feel this is something that needs to be introduced into our school system. The only way kids become the best and brightest is if they are taught by the best and brightest.

In Defense of a Lefty

So what are your thoughts on this Lefty as he tries to break the record? Nym supports Bonds and his effort. Nym supports him so much that he went and bought a signed bat a year ago to show his support. Don't worry, Nym also owns a Hank Aaron just in case it does not happen.

But seriously, how can you be against this guy? Sure he's an ass. So what? He's performed at a very high level for a long time and is one of the best players we have ever seen.

Steroids you say? Well, for one it was legal for most of his career. Two, MLB wants homeruns in the game and that is why they have been slow to stop the players in their usage. They got what they wanted. Lastly, why are we just going after Bonds? 40-50% of players (I'm not using Canseco numbers) use and we never hear about them.

A question on fundraising...

Does anyone know what the surge in the Democrats fund raising is from? Is this big contributors or more of the internet fund raising we saw in the last election?

Also, do you think with the primary fund raising be strong that we will see an even stronger fund raising next year for the candidate or less because the givers are tapped out?
