Mexican Flag
The illegal Mexican immigrants protesting the latest immigration proposal would actually gain more sympathizers by flying the flag of the United States as opposed to Mexico's. It is their flying of the flag they abandoned which makes them look hypocritical and unwilling to become United States Americans.

If these protesters want to march peacefully, wave the American flag and say that wish want to be welcomed and assimilated into a country that is so much better than the hellhole they forsook to get here, well that is one thing. But to make demands while claiming they are Mexican first and flying the Mexican flag above the American flag (and in this case hoisting the American flag UPSIDE DOWN: http://michellemalkin.com/archives/004869.htm ), why its enough to make a legal citizen's blood boil! This is exactly what is wrong with allowing any ingrate who can jump a fence to come here. Outside of the prospect of making a few more bucks an hour than they can in their wrecked society back home, they have no allegiance whatsoever to America or being American.
One more thing, this whole immigration issue cries out for a good, long posting followed by lots of healthy debate. Unfortunately I have not the time to initiate on this one. Could someone else on this blog please get this going? Times a wasting!
